Bullying is becoming a greater problem in the modern age we live in. What is receiving more recognition is that bullying is not only the once regarded realm of children but is also prevalent amounts' adults. Workplace bullying is common and a very distressing issue to cope with and a more often presenting situation.

Workplace bullying is common and a very distressing issue to cope with and a more often presenting situation.
Bullying has spread to cyberspace and social media which can cause the situation to be relentless and overwhelming. In fact, bullying can happen in families, social groups and in any group situation. For adults, it is mostly encountered in the workplace.
If people are trying to bring you down, it only means that they feel you are above them.

Bullying of adults can take a number of forms;
- Exclusion and isolation.
- Unacceptable criticism.
- Malicious rumours.
- Passed over for promotion.
- Mockery.
- Undermining.
